I have tried downloading it from lg pc suit and it said that my phone wasnt connected when it was. is there another way to update my phone.

There is no other way to update, but the first time I used LG PC Suite I ran into the same problem. Make sure that you have the 'mass storage' box unchecked in your settings, and then when you connect the USB cable, do not turn on USB storage. If you turn on USB storage, the computer recognizes the phone only as a USB drive, and the LG PC Suite won't recognize it as a phone.

Just use the service software and update with the relevant KDZ file.

Im In the uk and finaly got my update yesterday (28-01-2012)

Battery life is loads Better And Performance is better but only had the update 1 day so will have a week and post if i find anything diffrent

who you with I have one on o2 no update yet its unlock so can try any sim

I am in exactly the same boat as you (O2 but with an unlocked/unbranded handset) - just update it yourself manually... I am running GB v21D and it is much better.

Tryed to update kept telling me got the latest firmware tryed manual update get so far get fatal error and stop how did you do it

Got my GB update the other day. Phone call to the network provider was all that was needed
