Has anyone receiving HTC Desire yet ?

I ordered my phone first thing yesterday (saturday), so hopefully it will arrive on tuesday.
 
Sure is - been waiting for my current contract to expire and I thought I had to go for my first android phone... Which had to be the Desire. :P

It's such an upgrade from my current SE C905, which must be the worst phone I have ever had. No end of problems with it.


Let's just hope the Postie arrives first thing every morning!

Did you order before they it had sold out?
 
I haven't received an email unlike a previous poster, so I hope so. I'll give t-mobile a call tomorrow just to make sure. :)
 
I had a play with it last night and today. Overnight it was charged 6 hours, then after half a day the battery already go down to 42% left as it sound like the battery life is only last full day ?

Is there any new battery out there (much longer lifetime ?)

I love this HTC Desire phone, brilliant phone, I love it every mins! got speed of 10497kbps on wifi speedtest! but I haven't try 3G mobile internet yet! will try that when my new sim card arrive (T-Mobile sent me incorrect business sim card)

One disappointed is there isn't any screen protection sealed on it (I had to use my kitcken film cling on it until I get a proper ZAGG invisibleSHIELD. See here:

It's finally here! As the postie was walking away i said "thanks santa"

He didn't look to happy.

The phone is now on charge so i can play with it tonight! YAY!
 
Will do that, did think that I never paid that last time I think they think that giving me a new sim for nothing covers that! They sent the sim out and now sim that in my phone now doesn't work. Asked for new sim as one in my MDA snapped but still worked until I asked for the new one!

I'm going from a C905 to a HTC desire too! Can't wait. Good luck with the postie!
 
i CANCELLED my order for the desire because i was drawn to the nexus one, it's just arrived and i am very happy.

Hope all you Desire fans have happy times with your phones, i have been watching the posts from you all re. waiting for the t-mobile delivery and am glad for some it has arrived.

why would you want a n1 instead?
just to get it a little faster...only reason I can find half reasonable. :)
 
since so many buddies got their ideal mate, anyone so far has experienced the touchscreen issue that N1 has? I gave up the nexus one a month ago and eager to become a owner of DESIRE~~

No just prefer not to follow the crowd for once, I did with the iPhone. Want to be different this time! I like the n1! Horses for courses. :D
 
HI IM NEW...i have been reading all you posts and im sooo jealous. im with vodafone, i can upgrade but they said its not coming out till the end of april, gutted!!!

i have just read that orange has exclusive deal on the desire black.....im wondering if i should wait till May (when my contract ends)and get it???
 
My 02 contract doesn't finish for a couple of months. You can always pay to the end of the contract and move elsewhere before. (i ended up saving money this way). I sold my old phone to the royal mail (for

Voda have released their release date. April 13th.
