Has anyone receiving HTC Desire yet ?

If it doesn't arrive tomorrow it will arrive on saturday as there are no deliveries on friday.
 
Got my HTC Desire 30 March 2010. I just walked into Carphonewarehouse and the girl went out to the stockroom and brought one out. I instantly handed over my credit card and bought it on the spot. I've only had several hours playing with it but looking forward to getting some applications and joinng in with this forum, getting to know this phone.

Hey there. I was in Bristol today passing through with work. I'm from a town near Taunton (Somerset)

As for the phone, I've been waiting ages for it's release and when I had one in my hands, I had to buy it on the spot, I bought it outright with no contract, good old credit card, but it's a nice treat I gave myself.

Aw, I was in Bristol yesterday and had a look in a few phone shops but didn't see any desires! Ah well, getting my own delivered tomorrow hopefully :)
 
Got my confirmation of order processed from T-Mobile today. Hopefully that means it will be delivered tomorrow. Hopefully.

I got mine in Taunton. They only had 2 in stock and I quickly snapped one up there and then. T-Mobile didn't have any and the consultant told me that Carphonewarehouse were not technically allowed to sell me one (wtf?). I felt like going back to T-Mobile and waving it in their face, after I bought it.

Yeah Carphone warehouse were not meant to sell it till 1st so you got yours a day early.

Yeah, I know, I couldn't believe me luck. They have only 1 more in stock in the high street Taunton branch, I believe. I guess that's already been sold I would imagine. Amazon don't offer it until the 7th and it costs more too.
 
can anyone here help me out a bit please. i'm looking at getting this phone simfree and Carphone Warehouse have it on orange for

with handtec i have to wait atleast till the 10th...at the Caphone Warehouse i can buy it tomorrows :P
was just checking around to see if people know about the branding...if not i'll wait for handtec to deliver :)
 
Apart from joining this web site today and posting a couple of comments, I can't stop holding the phone, looking at it from all angles and messing around with the functions. It's an awesome piece of kit (Star Trek rings a bell) Next step is a car charger, screen protectors and a good proper case, then I'm sorted apart from upgrading the 4GB card to something higher.

I'm in geek/gadget heaven and I hope all you guys have fun when you gets yours.:)

Carphone warehouse usualy sell unlocked phones so dont carry branding even on contract but I would ask

I got mine from carphonewarehouse and theres is zero branding on it, btw. Only thing I had to do was buy an obligatory Orange sim
