Root Has anyone seen this?

Hi Everyone,

I searched tirelessly, but can't find an answer to this, so figured I'd ask. Just a heads up, I'm not a developer, so please speak in lamens terms with me .
I am trying to unlock the bootloader on my Rezound. I follow all the steps, but am getting stuck when I type in the prompt that is supposed to give you the code in cmd to copy and paste. The screen just keeps saying "waiting for phone", but never actually gives me the code. Can anyone help me here?

There are several prep steps to perform before you can unlock. For example, USB mode must be enabled; Fastboot should be turned off; HTCSynch must not be running on your PC. There are several guides floating around the forums. They explain all these steps.

if you havent installed htc sync yet,or installed drivers,might try using these instead: public:revolutionary [RootWiki] at the top of the page click "these htc fastboot drivers"

other than that,just the tings mentioned above: make sure usb debuggin is checked(settings/apps/development),fastboot is unckecked(settings/power)

before you copy the command, enter: adb devices

when you get your serial number back as a reply,youre good to go

I had the exact same problem... Your computer doesnt see your phone right now. Uninstall then reinstall ur drivers and try again.
