Root Hashtags root click troubleshooting

Alright, I could use a little help if you don't mind, I got all the files and everything I need ADB and all that I need in the Android folder in the root of the C drive with all the files hashtag had up, in the platform-tools folder. Anyhow my issue is that when I started the lg click root program with the Msl workaround thing mimova or whatever,it ends up giving mean error 3 saying something like DIAG mode non existing or something and then $exit. I don't know what this means and sorry I don't have the exact line, but hopefully someone knows something about this. Is there something I need to do with ADB to run it?

If you could post the output you're getting (commands and responses) that would be helpful.

Did you install the USB drivers from LG on your PC?

Also, on your phone, go to Settings>Applications and make sure the first listing/option is checked (Unknown sources). In the same section, tap on Development (Settings>Applications>Development) and just check all three options (USB debugging, etc.).

Is ADB working in general? You can check by opening a command prompt (cmd.exe, Run as Administrator may help, though may not be necessary), connect your phone with the USB cable, and type cd C:/android/platform-tools/. Then type adb devices and tell us what the output says.

Thanks for the reply bro, I'll have to wait to get my computer back to go any further, but I did some looking around and pulled this from another post. The error is the ssimilarame and the responses look similar. Starting Command Prompt MicrosoftWindows [Version 6.1.7600] Copyright (c) 2009 MicrosoftCorporation. All rights reserved.

I'm thinking maybe I forgot to put adb into the platform tools folder. Btw, does capitalization matter with the paths, such as C:/Android/Platform-tools/

You put adb in the correct folder, but you didn't put the clickroot files in the correct folder. You most likely, put the WHOLE click root folder in platform-tools, while you were only supposed to the files INSIDE the folder with adb. So your platform-tools folder should have the adb.exe, click root.exe, and the ministro2.apk, and so on.

EDIT: A lot people were having trouble with the placement of the files, so I just made a zip that you extract to the root of your C: drive and it has adb, clickroot files, all that jazz in it. If you didn't figure it out yet just go and download that.
