Have data but no voice/text!! PLEASE Help

I recently bought a rooted G3 off of ebay. Went to activate it on Sprint and all seemed to go well (ESN is clean). Turned it back on and data was working great but no voice or text. When I try to call or text it says that my account can not be validated and to call customer care. Customer care was clueless as to what the problem is(of course I don't want them to know the phone is rooted). They gave me several codes to enter but when I do any ## sequence, the phone just sits there and does nothing. So I tried the codes and hit the send button but I get the recording from Sprint again. My MEID number matches in both places but the phone number under "about phone" is the previous persons, not mine. I am at a loss of how to fix and know very little about any of this type of thing. I am using it to hotspot as I have no internet available in the boonies where I live. It is rooted with cyanogenmod. Under "about phone" it shows that sprint is the network and that it is in service, not roaming and mobile network is connected. PRL is 16010 and MIN is 3214430705 (whatever that means). Any suggestions?

I'd have an ask in the Sprint All Things Root forum if it's used regularly. Are you sure your device model is intended to work wit sprint?

Old prl. Should be 33031. Flash back to stock to update. If you have no internet, I would not have bought a phone without the stock system. There are many large files you need to maintain and update. The stock tar file for a one (nj2 is newest)

Well I actually have internet through the phone (such as now). I have been switching back and forth between the old and new phone. Once I get this fixed, it will not have to switch back and forth. If I am understanding things so far, it seems like I just have to put the stock ROM back on the phone and can still keep it rooted?

Yes, it is definately a sprint phone. Was at the sprint store today and they confirmed that it is a sprint phone but they could not get it to respond to their codes (I am assuming it is because of the ROM not being stock?)
