Hello Guys :)

I have rooted my phone when i had ICS 4.0.4.

I flash it with JB 4.1.2 leaked version, but now i cant root it....??

I have tried to flash it with PhilZ in Odin but nothing happens

When im in recovery mode, up in the left corner it says: PhilZ Touch 3, in the buttom it says: E: failed to mount exfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 /sdcard

Is there anyone that can help a green dude :o

You have certainly maid a blooper in your spelling! :D

did you make a CWM backup?
if so, restore it, then flash XXLSJ Neat

Hehehe yup made a blooper there too :-P

I used Titanium backup and i copied the /efs file to my external sdcard and to my pc.

I used cwm backup, but i cant seem to find the file on my phone anymore :-/

If i cant find it, is there any thing else i can do??

Edit: Found it on my phone, but it wont restore........?? When i try, this comes up: E: failed to mount exfat /dev/block/mmcblk1p1 /sdcard

that seems to be chainfire's cwm manager application (apk), so you're way off the mark there.

you need to boot up into recovery and restore your CWM backup from there. It will automatically look in the correct place after you select restore, so you should see it then.

Thank you soo much Hawker :-)

It works great now and im back on ICS 4.0.4

So now i got to start over again and to it rigth this time :-P

Download any of the XXLSJ custom roms (neat/wanam/alliance/disaster)
there isn't much to choose between those to be honest.
All these install PhilZ (which is a rooted stock kernel plus extra recovery features) so you won't lose root this time.

do a factory reset then flash the zip via cwm recovery

No need to delete the thread mate. Just let it be. Your struggle could turn out to be someone else's gain if they have the same problem:)
