Root Have to have wifi on to get mail?

I have the latest version of cognition in and so far so good. Everything was fine until yesterday I have to have my wifi on to load apps or get mail. Maybe I hit a button I have not figured out? Was fine until then so I figure it is probably me but do not know what I did. Thanks in advance.

All other internet-related processes work? It's just app downloading and email that require wi fi? And did you mean app loading or app downloading?
