Help Have you ever had problem with data connectivity..

Im on TATA DOCOMO (EDGE) and it seems that sometimes, the phone won't connect to internet. I have to reboot the phone inorder to use internet again. Turning off & on the data connectivity (from settings and the power control widget) does not seem to help . It becomes really frustrating. I am very proud about this phone as it has never crashed on me (except for once when I tried to install Samurai II vengence). Some other phones I have seen used to crash a lot, especially the Samsung Pop which has almost same specifications.

Anyways, coming to the problem, have you guys ever had this kind of problem, or have a solution to this problem??

bro there is three switches for 3g one the widget swith then the settings one
then comes the last n final mobile guard
if all these three are in on position it will connect to net asap.
so when u connect make sure its all on

well thanks for the reply, but I do understand every setting and I have done everything correctly. with all respect (and ofcourse, not self praising ) , I am a computer sciencce engg graduate, so I am pretty well informed about these stuff.(sorry for the attitude)

And Mobile guard is actually not really neccessary in my experiencce. There are scripts that are much faster and works better.

I'm using tatadocomo for past 1 year along with Karbonn a7 android phone. The one thing that frustrating me every time is the data connection. The data connection will lost itself and not connect immediately. When i'm trying to download something after some time it lost the data connection and the download wil not be resumed. The most annoying thing is sometimes the data connection will be there but the browser cannot process any data request and say no connection. But, before i used nokia 5230 i never experienced this problem. I won't change to other networks because in other networks the data plans are not attractive. I tried googling but still i can't find any solution. Please some one sort this out.

I personally have 5 different carrier's numbers
What i have observed is the net connections of other carriers just do not remain consistent ! I think its not a Device but a carrier problem
BSNL/MTNL are even more frustrating after you use 1Gb !

I am not here to advertise anything .... But Vodafone if you pay them HUGE amount of money is the one with which provides most range and consistent Data and super fast speeds !
