Is the chart for the US only? Still, even if it was, it seems the vast majority of Verizon users would have to jump on the iPhone bandwagon.

There is a lot of missing information on this graph. I have seen something similar, but more complete that includes other mobile platforms. Android is eating away at Symbian's market share. You see Symbian really high, but dropping as Android is growing.
