Having a bit of a Problem :(

Okay, I rooted my HTC Eris from 2.1 to Froyo 2.2 but here's the thing, I didn't backup anything! And now ALL of my CONTACTS are GONE!!! Now, I thought all would be fine but here's another thing, I can only remember the Username of the Gmail! I don't remember the recovery nor do I remember the secret question. So, I do not know what to do I filled out all of the other information found on the help area but I still don't think it will be enough. The only way for me to get my contacts back is to get into my Gmail account which, from what I'm seeing, is IMPOSSIBLE!!! If someone could help me with this issue and help resolve my problem I will be most grateful!

Hello. I would suggest dropping into the root section for the Eris and ask in there. Those guys have seen about everything from one time to another and should be able to offer up a suggestion or two. Yes, I'm afraid you might be up the proverbial tree...

Post something in the Eris forums like oldbriar suggested... Member / guide doogald might very well have an idea or two, but I'm not optimistic...

doogald's usually active there fairly early in the morning, but not usually this late at night.
