Having a few issues... any advice?

Hey guys,

New to the tablet world and so far, not bad, something to get used to I guess. I've been running into a few problems and I've read the forums and haven't found the correct advice. I do however need to check the forums for one of my 3 issues... will do.

1. Wifi is weak - I've downloaded and installed the most current firmware update and it's not very strong. I'm in the next room with thin walls and I'm down to 1-2 bars. When I'm in the living room (where the router is) I get 3 bars (20 feet away). While I'm at work I only get 1 bar and I'm about 30 feet away. Anyway to increase the Wifi?

2. I took a video today and I wanted to transfer it to my computer but there were no options. I've tried a few things and done research but can't seem to find a solution. I did however change the settings now to record on the SD card from this point further. Ideas? (RESOLVED)

3. I downloaded app2sd which I've heard is a great program to store your apps on your sd card. Card has been formatted as Fat32. Option to transfer it over however, is not there. I heard it works on some and sometimes it doesn't work. Is there a solution to this?

Thanks to all that take the time to help and hopefully one day after I learn what the hell I'm doing, I may be able to return the favor and help others.

Did you do the wifi patch from the acer website? Not sure if that was included in the 3.1 update or not.

Unfortunately apps cannot be moved to the external sd card on this tab. I think it might be a honeycomb thing as i am able to do this on my 7" Sammy tab running 2.2 froyo. I tried app2sd when i first got my tab and when it didn't work I googled the crap out of it and found that no one was able to move apps on this tab and someone mentioned it was cause of honeycomb.

Oddly, the sales guy whom I purchased it from at Staples was able to do this. Not sure how but he did. It seems I must buy him a coffee on Monday and pick his brain. LOL. I will go to the website now and see if I can get the update.

I'd be very keen for an answer as well (and I'd even contribute to the coffee, maybe bill me for the sugar).
 
For giggle's sake, use a safety pin to reset the button next to the USB port for your poor Wi-Fi connectivity. I've been able to help mine connect, even with the latest downloads!
