Help Having problem with low storage

My girlfriend and I both have HTC Inspire, the problem is she is getting the low storage symbol and we've done everything to take it off from getting rid of apps and deleting picture. Dont want to do a total reset of the phone can anyone help.

Have you tried deleting old text messages? Don't know exactly how much space those take, but if you got thousands saved, deleting them may free up quite a bit.
