Having problems sending videos?

[10 Eagles 10]

Hey guys, I am having trouble sending videos to people. I go to attach the video to send it to a friend, and when I click on it it says the following, "Message size limit reached, Unable to attach file. File Size too large." I am operating on a Samsung Galaxy s3. Can anyone please help? The video is only 6 seconds! Thanks again!

What is the size of the video and what app are you using to send. I believe Gmail has close to a 25 GB limit which is going to be a lot higher than any 6 second video so give that a try

I have a few short vids I took. On of them is 4 seconds and almost 9MB in size. There is a limit (don't remember what it is) to the size to be sent. There is a setting in the cam for video to be captured for MMS. You may need to use this to keep the file size small.
Did some searching.
The maximum size for MMS is rather carrier-dependent, and usually is set to 300kB.

Sometimes, the video is too large and the Galaxy s3 message cannot include it. When the video is too large to send, why not use the gmail or other online services?

Yeah. as people have said. If its a full res' HD video, thats a lot of MBs. Decreasing the resolution will make it exponentialy smaller in size
Upload it to Dropbox or Youtube and send the link to people
