Root Having Problems with my esteem after update to ZVE

Ok, so I found out about the update, downgraded to zvb with a rom, and let the update tool take me to ZVE and I downloaded rom#2 3.01. After doing so I have not had 4g since, I have only been getting 1x and 3g. So my question is did I do something wrong? should I redo the whole process but do a factory reset in CWM first before installing the zvb rom again then updating, my phone runs fine just not getting the data speeds and it's pissing me off. And I am not in some backwoods area I am in Atlanta GA and have always had 4g. I was gonna try to put it to stock but all the links in the stock guides DO NOT WORK. I am beginning to get frustrated and looking for the best course of action. Any help would be GREATLY! appreciated. You guys on the forums are the best and I have learned a lot here even though I don't post much. Thanks in advance!

Ok so I got my phone back to stock ZVE. Somehow I got my phone stuck in a boot loop for the first time ever. I corrected that with the update tool phone is back working but absolutely no data. This is a mess.....
 
Ok guess I fixed it all on my own, I Rebooted the phone and it got my data back at 4g I was like WOOHOO, till I rooted it.... SO I tried the battery saver any cut combo and it got my 4g back. So now rooted back on number 2 rom things are good. I posted for nothing :(
 
No market problems. but stil can't get consistant 4g speeds. It goes to 3g and 1x. only way i can get 4g back is to reset the lte configuration. but that's only temporary.temporary
 
yeah. seems to be a metro thing. i asked about it. they mentioned something about swapping everything thing over causing it. i called bs
 
I'm having the same problem. It keeps killing my battery as well, lol.. Oy vey!
 
i have that same problem in atlanta have to reset my phone get 4g for about 10 minutes and it go back to 3g did have this problem until i upgraded to zve
 
Cause the zve has new modem connection and also some files called Lte Images . Without these files your phone will not have full data cause lte image is helping the connection and this is what this new update is the zve and a update to the lg tool . This tool will update the lg drivers and trust and believe its a modem update .
 
This is what i been saying to everyone . Its a lot of new updates many have seen only a few of them and wont believe that you dont need metro corprate store for nothing :eek::D:what::screwy: this update can be done from your home and a working wifi and a device and some patients trust and believe they pushing it but the third wheel metro pcs isnt . This is being done from both metro and tmobile . You know the saying it takes two well its tmobile and metro pcs . And the other 2 is the lg esteem device and You :confused::eek::D:screwy::what:
 
im using ldrifta's #2 ZVE rooted with AIO and CWM; Issue = youtube and rhapsody force close as soon as I try to launch them. so far that's my only complaint. I have no streaming music.
 
and to simply put. prl 3035 sticks to phone memory but the script portion of it is basically ripping off so everytime you dial *228 it reupdates. my friend mentioned they know and that when orl 3036 comes out. it should fix the issue. otherwise. keep updating everything your 4g disappears for over an hour =]
 
An update for me.. Well, it's been a few days since I updated to ZVE which was uneventful and then updating the prl. I was out today and noticed that when I reboot with data on, it works, mostly on 3G, but it works, until I turn data off to preserve the battery. Nothing I do can turn mobile data back on unless I reboot again.

I tried opening the LG tool in hopes of being able to reinstall ZVE and it said I already had the latest version.

Bummer.
 
May i ask are u rooted if you are rooted make a backup and unroot do all the updates with the lg update tool and then reroot . As you see in many post the update tool will not work if you are rooted the tool will have a message posted as you are up to date but if you go in when your unrooted you will see things . But you wont need to unroot just have the os zve without any number 2 rom in it . So if you are lazy and don't want to unroot just flash your backup of zve and plug up to the update tool . OR IF YOU DON'T HAVE A BACKUP .just use the tool to update your recovery . This will wipe your phone clean from any custom rom or number2 rom .:eek::D and if you having problems with apps u wipped from os zve you can replace or fix anything that is a problem :eek::screwy: cause the lg tool will put your phone back to the way it was when you turned it on with the zve os . And at this time u can reroot and mess it up again . Hahahahah :confused::eek::D:what:;) ijs but the update recovery will do wonders now we can work our majic. But this is for the lazy people that don't want to make backups in clockworkmod .
