Root Having to pull battery after phone call

I rooted a co-workers stock thunderbolt last night and installed the wireless tether app and it worked great. This after noon he told me he has been having issues where after a phone call his screen goes black and he has to battery pull to get the phone back on. He has a "like new" replacement from Verizon and the only thing done to it was the root via revolution method.

Just rooting the phone should not have caused it to have any issues with the phone calls.

I think you may want to get with your friend to make sure he didn't mess with removing bloatware. If he didn't do that you could always try flashing a rom or the stock rom with a good wipe.

If you don't want to try flashing a rom then I would suggest booting into recovery and using the fix permissions option to see if that helps.
