Root Having trouble connecting to specific wifi

Im running Cleanrom 4.0 and I can always connect to wifi accept at work. I have a small business and we recently set up our wifi and my phone can find it and it when I hit connect, it just says "saved". It never actually can connect to it. Is there something in the router settings that I need to configure? Kind of annoying because in my store, I get a horrible signal from VZW so my data doesnt really work. Using the wifi would be wonderful. Thanks

Have you tried selecting the connection, telling the phone to "forget" the connection, have WiFi rescan, find the access point and reconnect?

Another consideration is the type of encryption (security) your access point is using. Assuming you're running an authentication method that requires a password, do you get prompted for the password when you try to connect? You should.

In your wireless router:
o connect a computer WIRED into the router and follow the router's directions to access the router's setup screen from the computer's web browser.
o check the router manufacturer's website for newer firmware versions. It's always best to be using their latest firmware.
o Try enable "g ONLY" wireless. In the beginning of faster "n" routers there was incompatibility between different companies' implementation of "n". "b" wireless is old and a waste to support because these older devices do not support WPA2 security. Once things are working with "g ONLY" wireless, then you can try enabling "g and n" or "b/g/n".
o Enable WPA2 encryption and enter a password. You can try no encryption for a test, but you really want to use WPA2 encryption with a password. WEP encryption is useless - don't use it - it is a left-over from the "b" wireless days.

On your phone, connect and enter the router's WPA2 password when prompted.
