Help Having Trouble Syncing Weather/Time

Hey I just bought an Incredible. Recently the home screen clock widget (and task bar time) have been syncing up the time and weather to various towns in the Boston area but I live outside of San Francisco. How can I fix this?

I have all the GPS Options turned on
I am using Advanced Task Killer

I'd suggest pulling the battery which in essence reboots the phone. Replace the battery. Once you have your phone running again... go to apps>accounts & sync and make certain background data and auto-sync are checked. If you scroll down on that screen you will also see weather. If you click on that you can set the frequency that the weather is synced. You can also choose to sync now to make certain all is fixed.

On another note... you might want to read through this forums opinion on task killers. I think most all are now in agreement that a task killer will cause more battery drain than it will conserve.

I tried that and it still has the same problem. Do you have any other ideas?

Do you have 3g enabled? The phone has to access the net to sync. After looking at my settings under apps>settings>location I have all three services checked. I am not certain if this is necessary but you might try one or another and then have the weather app sync again.

Yeah, i've got all three checked and 3g enabled. Whatever I do when its synced to boston area, I can't get it to change again. All I can do is wait until it switches back

I'm running short of ideas. If you tap on your clock it should bring you a screen of the clock. At the bottom are icons time-world-alarm etc. If you click on the world the screen should show a place to add a city and then a box showing your location and time zone and current time. Mine says Home for location. I can see no way to edit this. I suspect yours says Boston. If all else fails.. drag that widget to the trash can and then add it back. When you first install the widget it will give you the chance to add a locaton or use current. You will want to chose current naturally.
