Root Having trouble updating.

I bricked my captivate and restored using odin. The first thing I did was root it while at 2.1update using super one click then unlocked it for T-mobile. This worked, but now I realized that I can't get rom manager without allowed third party apps. So, I tried updating using kies, and it said that my phone is unsupported. Also, my computer is no longer recognizing my captivate, and I can't even mount it, pushing it has no effect. Is there some way that I can fix this.

First off, I'd never recommend using rom manager on a Samsung phone. It can have disastrous results.

I think you will have to take it back to stock and then update it that way. Can you put it into download mode?
