Having trouble uploading photos?

Basically, I take a lot of pictures on my HTC and when I plug it into my computer via the USB cable, it gives me the normal options on the phone (just charge, sync contacts and calenders etc) but I have no option or obvious availability to upload the photos I have taken on my phone?
Perhaps I'm being a bit slow here? It's a bit embarrasing having to ask how to do something this simple, but I simply cannot figure it out!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

When plugging in via USB you should select the option that allows you to treat your phone as an external drive. You can then drag and drop the files from your phone to your computer.

How can i upload the pictures from the phone to the pc? Everything i plug the USB into the computer i hear it but i don't see it. It is not in "my computer".. Help please!

As soon as you plug in your phone through the USB, your phone will give you few options. Select the option "disk drive", and that's it. You can use your phone for transferring data.
