Root HBO Go not supported?

Sorry if this was covered tried a search. I had hbo go installed on stock rooted evo. Broke phone and on replacement phone flashed fresh 4.0.3 running gb 2.3.3 now saying app not supported on device. Any fixes or reasons for this?

I don't believe they have yet made that app compatible for 2.3.3 ...you might search over in the app and theme section of xda-developers.com though...

I will def check that out. I could have sworn on the app description said up to 2.3.3 but I could have been mistaken thank you

I canceled hbo just before the app came out

It has to be the 2.3.3... I'm running it on warm 2.2 and it works great. As long as you're on wifi that is.

HBO Go over WiFi does not work for me either. At first I tried it with the stock rom, rooted and it didnt work. Upgraded rom to Cyanogen 7 and it still does not work. I have unistalled and reinstalled the app several times with both roms and nothing. On WiFi, when you click on any video, the HBO Go logo comes up then it hangs there. If you wait long enough it will pop up a message saying its taking longer than expected. It gives you the option to force close, wait, or report. HBO Go works on several iPads and iPhones on this same WiFi network. I dont know what else to try.

Works fine on alliance rom 2.1 sense hybriD 2.3.3
