Root HBOOT Driver Install Problem

Saiylem

Lurker
Android 1.0 doesn't appear below Other Devices as stated it should. It's either ADP (with debug on), or USB Device (with debug off.) When I right-click this instead to try and install the drivers, I'm not given an option to specify a file.

Android 2.2
HBOOT .97
Windows XP

Okay. Got passed that. Now when I run the reflash program it just stays on the main screen. My phone is in debug/charge only. ADB wants to update/install when I connect to my computer, however. I have refrained from doing so thus far. Would it be wise to?

*Update*
Yeah. Unrevoked. Sorry 'bout that.

I feel kinda silly here. Posting problems and then figuring out the answers. :/

I got the program to work and reached the status 42 error at the end of the road.
Read a few more forums to find that I should now use the Unrevoked Forever .zip file by placing it in my sd card. Which I no longer have access to. :/
Saw some people mentioned their cards became corrupt. No biggie to me as I didn't have any data on it to begin with. But how am I supposed to go about fixing this so I can use it?

*Update*
My phone says the total space/available space is unavailable. And formatting the card is gray'd out. I'm gonna try to remove/re-insert the card.

Yeah. I can't move apps to it, nor can I access it with eFile (an on-phone browsing app), and a folder doesn't appear for my sd card in my browser on the computer (while my phone is in hard disk mode.)

So nothing's wrong with it. I just can't do anything with it at all in Hard Disk mode. Charge mode, however, allows my phone to access it.
But how am I supposed to access it with my computer to put the file in?
... Actually. I'm just gonna drop it on my phone and use eFile on my phone to put it on my sd card. =D
