Root HBOOT drivers problem

Hi Guys - just starting to do all this and assembling the bits I need - but when I download the HBOOT drivers and then try and extract them it says it cannot read the file it appears not to be a valid archive.

If I click the link it opens a tab but I get a 403 forbidden error. Is this a firewall thing as I am downloading them at work?

It's just that I got the same 403 when i downloaded unREVoked but could right click and save that one just fine....

Hmmm - thanks SUroot will try.

Which does bring up another matter - namely, I assume that all the root tools only work on PC's and not macs - which is what I have at home. Am I to be frustrated once again?!
 
yes - was going to do that - but as an aside thought about doing it all from the macbook.

But have installation rights - more or less!
 
There's a different download for each OS. The unrevoked site will generally offer the one for the OS you are using, but you can select a different one.

Edit: mac one won't be called unrevoked.exe though. It'll be an OSX installer, and the installed app is called Reflash.app on my Macbook (which is unrevoked 3.2.1).
 
It will only give me the option for 3.32 - is this ok? Haven't I read somewhere on here that it's a little buggy? <scratches head and tries to remember which thread....>

EDIT : thanks Hadron - i know about the name change thing - I was just referring to the exe file
