HD TV connection

Im just wondering is there a way i can connect my phone to my tv and watch videos off there by any chance and will all the files formats be picked up.

Not too sure if i can use my basic usb cable for it and also if i wanted to insert it into my dvd player what settings do i use for the player to pick this up.

what decoder do i use ? S/W H/W

Does your TV have a USB port on it?

What's worked with other phones is mounting it as a USB Drive, then you can view the videos via the USB menu on the TV. A lot of TV's will only play mpg coded files though so you're kind of limited as to what you can watch. If you do it via the DVD, you might be able to view more file types.

I don't believe there's any other way of doing it at the moment.
