Help HD won't connect to pc,(trying to fix auto rotate)

My auto rotate stopped working,unsure when as I have the HTC widget on the on-screen to turn on when needed because its usually off to save battery.My thought was to hook it up to my laptop and get some updates but my phone starts charging but there's no asking me which connection type I want,even though all the settings seem right,could I simply have a dodgy charger??

Any ideas on the auto rotate roo?

Help me please,anyhelp much appreciated!

I just had this problem. I had to unmount and format the SD card. That should fix the SD connecting to the PC problem. As for auto rotate not sure what it could be :S

Great,ill give it a go,stick don't know why I have the auto-rotate problem though?

Problem sorted thanks,I actually used a spare SD card in the phone and it recognized sync then put my original card back and everything seems fine!
