What's the difference between HDMI micro and HDMI mini cables.

I wouldn't know, and I wouldn't bother with those to be honest.

The size of the connector, neither will work. It's not an hdmi out, you need a mhl adapter. It stands for micro high definition link. Allows charging while viewing hdmi with a lower part count.

No, that won't work. Again, the phone doesn't have hdmi out. You need a mhl adapter. It has a micro usb male on one side and HDMI on the other with a female micro usb port for your charger somewhere in the middle.

I wanted to use this to hook up to an older monitor I have that is VGA only. Does anyone know if this will still work alright using an HDMI to VGA adapter on a monitor that maxes out at 1280x1024? Thanks.
