bought this and just plugged it in to my 70 inch sharp works great did not have to change a thing on the phone just plug and play

The title of this thread should be changed so no one else buys a worthless HDMI converter like I did

I'm convinced this wont work no matter how hard we try. ...if you're trying to get videos, pics, and music (from the motion) to play on an hdtv, I can verify a PS3 and any Sony Dlna-certified bluray player should work. I recently bought one for that very purpose, and it works flawlessly (aside from human error). Also, if using the phone as a media server, Pixel-DMS works better than smart share as it can also be used with tether apps.
