Help hdmi out doesn't work every time?!

Oh boy, this is annoying. I tried hdmi out today and my tv said no input signal. Last time I tried with same tv, same video, same setting....it worked...

It plays perfectly on my phone though.....and I set to 480p 720p or auto. nothing works. I even tried with different video player like mvideoplayer or the default one. Still got nothing. Just don't know which part went wrong?! If it can play on EVO why it can't output to my tv like last time I did?

Running Froyo here. Any help will be appreciated.

Mine does the same thing. I have a samsung 3dtv. What about u? And I got my hdmi from monoprice

The HDMI DRM handshaking is really flakey on the EVO. Some displays it works great, others not so much. I had an older AMZER cable that did not work well but the Molex and HTC ones work fine. Still, for many devices the HDMI handshaking does not work well. I bought an HDFuryII HDMI to VGA converter and with that, it links up to anything. Full HD output. HDMI has been a headache since released.
