Help HDMI out issues? What's the resolution?

So I encountered my first problem on my bionic! I tried connecting it to another tv and it says unsupported, most likely just a resolution issue.

I have a couple questions now that im having a hard time finding. First, what is this phone's output resolution? Second, how do I change that resolution to work on different TVs?

Looks gorgeous on the 3 HD TVs I have in the house. Have you gone into Settings > HDMI and played with the Overscan setting? Other than that, I know of no other settings for HDMI or resolution adjustment.

When I'm watching shows in mirror mode off the net (like cbs.com) the audio is delayed making it look like a foreign movie. Anybody having this issue?

1 - 1280x720 @ 60Hz
2 - If you connect to a TV that supports the default resolution, you'll see a group of icons at the top-right of the screen. The one on the far left is your Settings adjustments (looks like a gear). Click it, then on 'Display'. You can change your resolution in the popup window.

My HDMI out is only recognized sporadically, but the last few days I can't get the phone to mirror. I didn't buy the OEM cable from Verizon; is this a problem with my cable or my phone?

The default mirror looks like 720P. But if you have 1080P on memory card it will also play that in true 1080P.
