hdmi out limitations?

Is there an app or some sort of work around for the hdmi limitations? I want basically be able to do whatever I want but on my TV. I just got resident evil 4 (biohazard 4) for Android and I want to play it on my boobtube. Or even reading my ebooks would be nice.
Anyone have any ideas?
Oh and dead space is bad ads too. I have a Bluetooth remote for it so it would be sick for my emulators too.

I don't know of any restrictions using HDMI. You have to remember everything done on the phone is shown on the bigger screen, but you still have to play the games or whatever else you do on the phone, looking at the phone. That makes it hard to watch a big screen unless you're streaming a movie.

There are a few bluetooth controllers for Android that make it easy to play games on your TV. Although the resolution may stay the same as on your phone.
