Help HDMI output. Confrimed or not?

The reviews I saw showed a micro USB to HDMI adapter that plugs into the micro USB port. You can then use a normal HDMI cable to plug it into your TV. You also need to plug your charger into the adapter. There is a port provided in the adapter for the charger cable, so that you have power.

It does support it.
the trick here is that it's not a true microUSB. it has a new standard called MHL (stands for Mobile High-definition Link) that supports full HDMI playback and simultaneous charging through an adapter. I did notice that the units that were given out at the announcement event came with the MHL adapter in the box but I don't know if the retail units will come with one.
hope this helps!

Edit: If you watch the unboxing video on the announcement link they show the Adapter at about 1:20. and this image of the box shows the box contains: "MHL adapter for HDMI output"

They do come with the MHL adapter retail. At the least mine did (purchased 5/15/11).
