Help HDMI output lag

So I finally tried the HDMI-out. Neat feature, but not impressed with with the performance. I'm finding that all the videos I play seem to have framerate issues or some kind of micro stuttering every few seconds. And I'm not talking about super high bitrate large resolution files, I'm talking 480x270, run silky smooth on the phone but when mirroring to my dell LCD its choppy.

Anyone experienced this or have any thoughts?

What if say you try to play YouTube or Netflix? I was planning on buying one of these cables to put HBOGO on my big screen, but if you say it isnt very good idk if I should spend the money.

Well... this cable that's $30 in Worst Buy or at a Verizon store is only $3 with free shipping from Amazon. I just ordered one; I'll post my results once I get it.

I didn't notice any lag with mine. I tried youtube videos in the app and flash video online. I also played some angry birds with my bluetooth mouse from the couch and it worked great.

Ok so I finally got my Micro HDMI cable today, and I have to say I'm horribly disappointed. First thing I tried to do was play HBO Go. I had the phone on mirror mode and the app was working great, but then as soon as I tried to actually play a movie I got "ERROR! Please disconnect the HDMI cable and try playing your video again." What kind of crap is that? I heard that you can play Netflix on mirror mode, why not HBO Go? Doesn't really sound like a phone problem, more like the app has HDMI blocked, but that was pretty much the only reason for me getting this cable.

Mirror mode seemed to work well enough otherwise, but I did notice some lag when playing Google Music. Not sure if it was a problem downloading or what, but once I unplugged the HDMI cable the stutters went away.

I have Liberty ROM on my phone.

HDMI cables allows to get both video and audio to an HDTV without the need to use multiple cables. When you use the HDMI capacities in your TV, it lets you maximize the quality of the picture.
HDMI is best, followed by red, green, blue cables, S-video, RCA, and coaxial. You will have to spend a little extra to get the right cables for your new equipment, but the difference it makes is worth every penny.
