HDMI Problems

Watching Filmon.com on the PC is fine but when watching on TV get video freeze, audio seems fine. The HDMI cable has a 10 metre run, is this the problem and how can I cure it? Would running a 10 metre internet cable and a short HDMI cable work any better. Unfortunately the TV cannot be moved any nearer. My internet cennection is on a system called Wimax running at 8Mgb

What kind of tv and you may want to start with changing the value from 720 to 1080
And is the TV a smart TV with internet connection

Hi Brainz2013, thanks for coming back to me. The TV is a 2 week old Hitachi HD ready Smart set. It is set to 1920 x 1080. The android box is a dual core tv smart player, using android 4.2 OS with HDMI connection and 1080 HD video playback. All of wish goes straight over a 75 years head!

Now on the TV do u have WiFi connection
You can fix with the proper cable cause the thicker the wire the better the signal

Is the Android box one a no-name Chinese one? Quite possibly it's having problems with the 1080p resolution, possibly due to poor design or lack of testing, and maybe why the video is freezing. Could also be the length of your HDMI run as well, especially if the cable is not up to it.

Thank for all the input, Yes, the tv does have a wifi dongle, the tv box is a cheap on 50 pounds in UK. and the cable was only 8 pounds. It looks like a case of you get what you pay for. I'm in Spain where digital tv only came in a few months ago. I will have to bit the bullet and have a decent system installed. Once agains thanks for the help to you all
