Help HDMI to notebook screen?

Is there a way to display the HDMI output from the DX to a notebook? I do have an HDMI port on my notebook, but I am not sure how to display another source on the notebook screen. I'm running Windows Vista on an HP.

Are you sure that the HDMI port on your laptop is an input and not an output like the Droid's.

This...most HDMI ports on a laptop are for OUTPUT use only. There maybe a program you can run, but I'm not entirely sure.

No, I'm not sure...just trying to think a bit outside the box. I'm not sure if it will even work, but I'm asking just in case it will work. It would sure be nice if it did!
