Root hdmi?

I am in no way a developer or computer smart at all. Just a fan of the ROMs and what they can do. I love the use of my hdmi so was wondering if it seems even possible to get it working on anything but froyo? I understand there are many other things that devs will look into first and that's fine. I was just curious if it looked possible in the future? Thanks

Oh it's very posible. It's also very hard:)
g60 got it to display a blue screen and that was about it. Personally I just got my first HDMI enabled TV this Christmas. I don't even have an HDMI cable yet. One of the problems is the source for our frameworks and the only way we can look at it is through smali code (google it). That makes it almost imposible to figure out the java code to implement it.

The hdmi experience is great. For movies or even viewing pictures on a bigger screen. I ordered my cable on eBay and paid a whole 2.99. Works flawlessly

I had a cable too from eBay until my wife got a Kindle Fire HD for christmas. Now she has my cable.. :-(
