Root Head phone problems and other questions

I am currently running aliendroid on my phone and when i listen to music, it just all of a sudden freaks out and the audio goes fuzzy or plays a high pitch sound that makes the phone freeze and reboot. This has also happened to me on g60madman's cm10.1 build and wild for the night. It only happens on jellybean based roms because on all of the ice cream sandwich roms I've run, i never had this problem.
Is there a fix for this or is this something that I'm going to have to accept for using a jellybean rom?

On a side note, could someone list what kernels are compatible with cm10.1 roms and give a link to them. It would be much appreciated.:D

Try Mac kernel and raising your min frequency to 486Mhz and your max screen off frequency to 586Mhz; you can do all this using kernel tuner.

I did use mac kernel while i was on wild for the night, but i still had headphone issues and the cpu clock speed, governor, and the misc options like fast charge wouldn't stick. I do use kernel tuner to change all of those settings but still get the same problems.

To get it to stick, go settings then application settings and set it to boot complete or init.d; try both.

I have done the init.d script and complete on boot before and neither of them work for mac kernel. Even on the stock kernel, one of the core frequencies doesn't stick. Is it maybe that my device is just a "special" one that doesn't like jellybean?
