Help Headphone buttons

How do I get my headphone buttons to work? Why do I need internet to use voice to text?

Hi,

You need the Internet to get voice to text to work because it is Google who is doing the analysis and transformation for you. The phone is powerful, but not quite that powerful

With regards to your headphone buttons question: I cannot say for sure because my headset just works (a regular phone headset with a single button). I guess you have a different model.

Thanks for the info. As for the headphones I just didn't have the jack pushed in all the way. They worked for audio but the buttons and mic didn't work. It's a new phone and the jack was quite snug. I didn't want to force things.
