Help Headphone for EVO

Hi Folks,

Newbie here;) I traded in my Palm Pre for the HTC EVO. Tried using my headphones from the Pre and I don't think they are compatible (i.e. no sound coming out of headphones, only coming from the phone).

Is there a specific type of headphone I need for a droid? Not interested in Bluetooth, just want to listen to music w/out everyone else hearing it too.

Just regular 3.5mm headphones. Your headphones probably have a mic built in, and that connector doesnt fit properly into the evo.

btw, the evo is not a droid.
