I've purchased a "Fanny Wang 1000 Wang On-Ear Headset" (iPhone compatible) and wanted to use it with my Sony Xperia S. Unfortunately, there is no sound on the headset and the phone plays the sound through its speakers. After a bit of research I've learnt that the Xperia S has the CTIA pin standard and some headphone manufaturers use the OMTP standard. The difference between them is just the switched ground and microphone pin. Now my question is: Has anybody had the same problem with a headset and does anybody know if there's a working adapter which simply switch those two pins?
