Root Headset issues

When I was on the stock platform, I had no issues with hooking in a head set and hearing the music through that. Now since going to KaosFroyo, my headset won't get the signal and it'll still run through the phone speaker - to a point. If I 'ease' the jack in, it'll 'feel' the signal and eventually take over. (Sorry about the lack of real description here, best I could come up with). I tried installing toggleheadset2, but that didn't make a difference. I HAVE to think this is a software thing, not a hardware/physical jack thing.

Anyone else happen to see this?

Have you tried a different headset and/or a different ROM?
Doing that would help identify exactly where the problem is.

Have you tried rebooting? I had the same problem once with one of the 2.2 roms (I forget which one) and it stopped after a reboot.

FYI, was a bug in Kasov36. Upgraded to V39 and no longer an issue.
