Help hearing callers "before" I answer calls

ok, stupid question maybe, and I don't believe that I'm imagining it, but recently (the last week) I've been hearing callers while my phone is ringing on the other end, it's like they hear the ringing and while they are talking I can hear them and when I pick up and say hello, they aren't aware that I could hear them. Has this happened to anyone else?

It's not everycall but about 2 out of 10 times I'll hear it, which is odd.

and I'm stock 2.3 no root in past and using a bluetooth earpiece if that makes a difference.

Mine will do that also occasionally. Is kind of weird

Hasn't happened in awhile (knock on wood).

It seemed to only happen from Verizon callers. Very strange, to say the least.

Same thing happened on my phone twice...I think both times may have been my mom, who is also on our Sprint account.

I thought I was going crazy to tell ya the truth when i first saw this happening. But now i have placed it in the bucket of problems. It is probably not going to get fixed since HTC is focused on pushing out newer and newer phones costing outrageous amounts and jot supporting the customers which bought their phone 6 months ago but what I know aboit capitalism I only work in finance in a very big corporation.

ok, well dang because I sorta like the option if it was available. I have been getting "private number" calls that I set up as a contact and have going straight to voicemail, but now since I have been hearing "voices" I switched it back, hoping to hear some sounds on the other end to let me know who it may be...... but alas they won't call when I want them to.
