Help Heat Issue

My phone gets pretty hot after using the display for about 5 minutes...is this how every droid 3 is? Is this a common D3 issue..its just something that i dont think should be happening with such a new phone.

Mine gets hot as well, most recognizable along it's lower half and from the back.

You're both using the word, "hot." I'm wondering if you mean that as being almost too much to hold, or just good and warm.

Every phone I've had, even my old StarTac, became warm with use. Most notably around the battery cover.

I'm thinking that these Androids get warm because of the processor's speed these days.

But, no, my Droid 3 does not get "hot," barely warm and certainly not as warm as the aforementioned StarTac did.

No "hot" here either, unless when downloading files while the device is plugged in. Even then the D3 is warmer than usual, but not as hot as my Incredible or DX2 got. Both of those got toasty with Flash, playing games, just to name a few instances of use.
