Help Heeeeelp meeeee! Sgs2

My newish SGS2 is on the fritz! It died last night, so I plugged it into the wall charger... This morning it won't work. All it does is load the Galaxy swirly S thing over and over and over... until the battery dies. I tried doing the 'soft' and 'hard' resets to no avail. Any other suggestions?? I love this phone... I upgraded to it from a Captivate... now I'm back to using my Captivate and that sucks. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. TY!!!
 
If you can power down do so with the power button.
If not take out the battery and put it back in.
Then with the phone off try going into download mode.
This is done by pressing vol down + home + power together and keep them pressed until a download message appears on the screen, usually about 2 seconds or so later. If you can do this then you have a chance. You should then be able to reflash your firmware via Odin.

whichever firmware you are on try and flash a non wipe version or you will have to redo all your settings again.

If you are rooted, there is a better option by restoring a cwm backup as long as you previously did one of course
