hi all, just discover this forum today.... Lots of great helpful tips/resources...
Just got my Droid charge (first smart-phone and first new phone in 6-7 yrs)...
And let you tell you, am I impress...I could still remember it was only a few years ago that I can get on internet with my laptop in in backyard with a wireless connection.(And I was SO IMPRESS with it,,,,LOL)

I tested speedtest.net and my droid charge actually have faster ping and upload than my comcast high speed internet.... Comcast download speed beat Verizon 4G-LTE by ~1Mbps only. WOW.... all these in a mere few years...

OK, here's my first question. I have download and install an app..But decided not to keep it.. How can I delete/unistall the app... I tried putting it to the trash but all it does is making a copy to the desktop and then delete the desktop "shortcut"...Any help would be greatly appreciated....

thanks,
awd

Go into Settings, then Applications, then Manage Applications. From there, you can remove apps by pressing on the desired app and then pressing Uninstall.

is there a way to turn off the "Drooooooooid " sound when the phone is fully charged?

never mind.... found the answer(sort of) from another thread...

FYI,

A: Go into Settings > Sound Settings > Volume > Notification Volume and lower it.

B: Go into Settings > Sound Settings > Notification ringtone and set it to "Facebook Pop" (I guess you'd have to have the Facebook app installed for that to show up) or some other sound that won't wake you up.
