I just read about the lastest law that bans unlocking/rooting/jailbreaking phones. I was going to root my phone today. I'll figure out a way around the law, as always. :) I love my new Galaxy Note 2. Its extremely fast.
 
Hey there James, glad to have you here :)

The new law in effect does not have any kind of influence on Rooting your device, it is just for Unlocking them. You can root the device without unlocking it. So feel free to Root that device!
