Help Hello and Teather Question

[monkeyworknet]

Hi Folks,

First post to these forums and just wanted to ask a quick question - is it possible to teather the TMO Vibrant (unlocked) to a linux notebook (ubuntu) and if so is there a howto somewhere on the web?

Thanks!

also you can use pdanet, but that is limited.

Additionally, T-mobile is now charging for tethering and has gotten strict about it. If you tether, they will find out, and you will get a text message from them notifying you.

I am running Kubuntu and i was not able to use the wireless tether with it. I did some more research and found that there is an issue with Ubuntu and wireless tether working together.
