I got my HTC Evo 4G from Sprint on July 29, 2010, which is exactly one year to the day that I got the Palm Pre in 2009. I was extremely disappointed in the Pre and now, a year later I am extremely happy with my Evo. Now, I want to root it and want to get as much information as possible on how to root this correctly and not brick my phone.
