Root Hello everybody need some help

HI hows everybody doing, Let me start by wishing everyone happy holidays. with that said i am pretty new to hacking my droid x 2.2 , running 2.3.340 and verizon build. I did manage to root it , now i need to the best ROM for this device. also my wireless teher works fine on my laptops but mt ipad says it cant find the internet , any help would be great on these issues

First off, welcome....Second. I have no clue on the iPad. My co-workers ipad found my X just fine.

As for ROMs -- I here APEX 1.3 is pretty BadA$$. But I haven't installed it yet. Prolly will over the Christmas Holiday. But nearly every seems to love it.

Are you using wireless tether or 3G Hotspot. Wireless tether is ad hoc and some devices will not pick it up. since you are new to ROMs try Apex 1.3.1 it is very stable and user friendly. There is an incredible thread on it.
