Hello to you all, my name is Chris aka MajorShads.

I recently managed to come away from the awful IPhone and am now the proud and happy owner of a shiny new Sony Experia T

I am not at all techincally minded nor am I good with getting my phone how I want to, looks wise, themes etc and am in dire need of help with it.

Just not sure where to put up my help post lol

I joined this forum in the hope that the good people here would'nt mind helping me out with getting things right on my new phone, I may even learn a few things to!!

Oh dear that does'nt sound to good that the Xperia T forums are not very busy, Don't quite know what to think now lol Hope I got a good phone lol

Ok on to one of my many many questions, in time you will be sick of me lol

I am after a or some top free themes as money is very tight, phones contract did not help but that was down to my not waiting until the end of december to get an upgrade!! just could'nt wait lol

Trouble is that I know how to install it etc.......things like the default bars like the widgets for example that my phone started with still have the default look and not the look of the theme, windows 8, its like this with all themes.

I want cool and colorful themes but not too bright if there are any lol

I know this whole post will read awful as I am struggling to explain things, I do apologise

Here there are many guides to theme-ing as well as many themes to look at, i am certain you will find your way around the forum in no time

One other question is, would anyone know how I can make my icons slightly bigger than the default size?

I think to do this you might need to root the device, however, you can look under Settings > Accessibility and see if Large Text is their, otherwise, to make the icons larger you may need to look into a icon pack to do that

OK well I take it you mean downloading an icon pack? No idea what root is sorry

Let me add my welcome. Another suggestion, especially for generic Android questions, is the Android Lounge. It would be a good place to ask questions about customizing Android.
