Hello Everyone,
I am a longtime android but still a novice android user. I started with the miserable "Samsung Intercept" for Virgin Mobile USA. I was very excited with the phone, but then I started getting all the common frustrations with it, (its like it was programmed to work for about 31 days and then start acting up once it was past the return warranty!!) It would get really slow, and I would keep getting messages about "samsung.internal" had failed. Not to mention the biggest thing... this was a PHONE and I had NO service ANYWHERE. I didn't know how to root it so I looked to get a new phone. After initial reviews said the only other phone from Virgin Mobile with a keyboard wasn't worth anything, I decided to SWITCH.
Anyway, I finally took the leap, opened my pocket book and ordered a Droid 3 from Motorola on Verizon's network and was super impressed with the speed and all the new goodies that I couldn't even run on my other phone.
But, one thing completely frustrated me... all the BLOATware apps! So just today I am registering and joining the forums in hopes of getting some help with a few issues I am having now that I just ROOTED my phone for the first time!
Before I could post, it said to make this post, so I would like to say "HELLO" to everyone.
About me?: I am a gamer, anxiously waiting for the end of the week when the Elder Scrolls: Skyrim drops. I'm also a web designer and develloper and am interested in learning new languages. Who knows, maybe I'll make an app and post it here someday

I'm sure the first of many, but I'll pay it forward. I'm the kind of guy that once I get a handle on this, the whole office is going to have rooted phones
